About Me

Hi, I'm Kim.

US Navy Veteran. Proud mom. Theater geek. And the person who was already planning everyone else's vacations long before I made it official as an independent travel advisor with MMV Travel Collection, affiliated with Magical Moments Vacations.

That's really how this started. Friends and family kept asking for advice, recommendations, honest opinions. I realized I didn't just love travel, I loved helping people find the version of travel that was exactly right for them. So I made it my business.

I bring something most travel advisors can't. Real, firsthand experience across cruises, all-inclusives, adventure travel, and beyond. I've sailed Royal Caribbean and Virgin Voyages. I've experienced river cruising through Europe and researched expedition voyages to places most people only dream about. I've found the hidden gems and learned the hard lessons so you don't have to.

I also travel with food allergies myself. So when I tell you I know how to navigate menus, dietary restrictions, and allergy friendly destinations I mean it personally, not professionally.

As a Navy Veteran I have a special place in my heart for helping military families and veterans access the travel benefits and discounts they've earned and deserve.

My job is simple. Make your vacation less stressful and more extraordinary. You handle the excitement. I handle everything else.

I'm paid by the travel suppliers, so my services come at no cost to you. No booking fees, no planning fees, no catch. For travel outside of standard supplier partnerships a planning fee may apply, and I'll always be upfront about that before we begin.

I travel with food allergies myself so this is personal for me. I know the anxiety of wondering if you'll be able to eat safely and enjoy a meal without a side of stress. I know which cruise lines, resorts, and destinations handle dietary restrictions exceptionally well and which ones fall short. I will make sure you eat great, not just safely, wherever your travels take you.

Do I need a travel advisor or can I just book online?

You can absolutely book online. But here's the thing — when something goes wrong, and sometimes it does, you're on your own. When you work with me you have someone in your corner before, during, and after your trip. I also have access to perks, insider knowledge, and supplier relationships that simply aren't available on Expedia. It's not about whether you can do it yourself. It's about whether you want to.

What does a travel advisor actually do?

A lot more than most people realize. I listen to what you actually want, not just what you think you want, and I match you with the right experience for your life, your budget, and your travel style. I handle the research, the booking, the logistics, and the follow up. You show up ready to enjoy yourself.

How much does it cost to use your services?

For most trips nothing. I'm paid by the travel suppliers so my planning and booking services come at no cost to you. For travel outside of standard supplier partnerships a small planning fee may apply and I'll always tell you that upfront before we begin.

What types of trips do you specialize in?

Cruises are my sweet spot, especially Virgin Voyages, Royal Caribbean, and Viking. I also specialize in all-inclusive resorts, adventure travel, military and veteran travel, and food allergy friendly vacations. Disney and Universal are in my wheelhouse too. Honestly if you're dreaming about a trip there's a good chance I can help you plan it.

I've never cruised before. Where do I even start?

Right here. Seriously, this is one of my favorite conversations to have because there are so many options and the right one depends entirely on you. Family or adults only? Big ship or small ship? Caribbean or Mediterranean? I'll ask you a few questions and we'll figure out exactly where to start. First time cruisers are some of my favorite clients.

Can you help with food allergies and dietary restrictions?

This one is personal for me because I travel with food allergies myself. I know which cruise lines, resorts, and destinations handle dietary restrictions exceptionally well and which ones fall short. I won't send you somewhere that can't take care of you and I'll make sure you eat great, not just safely.

Do you offer discounts for military and veterans?

As a Navy Veteran myself this is something I feel strongly about. Many cruise lines and resorts offer military rates and benefits that most people don't even know exist. I know where to find them and how to make sure you're getting everything you've earned. It is genuinely my honor to help.
